CHARLOTTE – Carillon Assisted Living will host The Holiday Singers, a Victorian Christmas caroling group, as they perform a free concert at each of its seven Charlotte-area assisted living communities on Dec. 1 and 8.
Donations will be raised during the events to benefit local charities, including the Union County Christmas Bureau.
The caroling concerts are part of a companywide effort to welcome families and friends to Carillon’s communities for a fun, festive celebration featuring Christmas traditions.
Carillon Assisted Living at Indian Trail, located at 5306 Secrest Short Cut Road, will have its concert 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 1.
“Our Carillon Christmas concert is a way to bring people together around the very traditions that unite us at the holiday season, and in effect, all year long,” President and CEO Karen Moriarty said. “And it is so important to center those festivities around our seniors, because they are the ones who taught us to honor those Christmas traditions and to pass them on to our children.”
