MONROE – Sergeant First Class David Broadie, US Army, will serve as guest speaker during the city and county’s Veterans Day Ceremony.
Broadie served tours in Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan. He later founded the North Carolina Military Veterans’ Hall of Fame.
The ceremony starts at 10:45 a.m. Nov. 10 at the Charlotte-Monroe Executive Airport.
Monroe Mayor Bobby Kilgore, Union Commissioner Richard Helms and Brigadier General Gary Wilfong will present awards and proclamations to JROTC cadets.
