MONROE – Poll workers are needed to work early voting sites this fall.
Poll workers are paid $10.81 per hour for attending training and working during the early voting period.
Early voting takes place Oct. 17 to Nov. 3 at seven locations in Union County. Weekday hours will be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday hours will be 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Workers will be scheduled in shifts and will not be required to work 12-hour days.
Poll workers must be Union County residents and Union County registered voters. They cannot be a candidate, relative of a candidate on the ballot, elected government official, political party office-holder or treasurer for a candidate or political party. They should be computer proficient.
