Union County Weekly Faith Notes

Administrative support volunteer opportunity

STALLINGS – There are a lot of little details that need to happen administratively to ensure that what guests experience on Sundays at Next Level Church is top quality. The church also makes sure to follow up with all guests once they head back home.

Administrative support volunteers need to be people who are very detail oriented and sweat the small stuff. There are positions available on Sunday afternoon, Monday morning and afternoon and Thursday morning. Choose from the following: copying and cutting on Thursday mornings; an accountant assistant on Monday morning; visitor entry data, either Sunday afternoon/evening or Monday morning; and an information distribution/welcome team needed Monday in the early afternoon.

Also, an on-call team will be recruited as needed to help with additional needs, such as mailings, big copying projects and other duties. For more information, call 704-841-6133 or go to www.nextlevelchurch.org

The church is located at 4317 Stevens Mill Road.

St. Margaret’s ‘organ donor’ update

WAXHAW – At the time of the publication of its November newsletter, St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church reported having received $68,224 in donations to fund the new organ church representatives selected to purchase for worship services.

The organ has now been ordered, as the down payment was met with these donations. But the “organ donor” fundraising efforts continue as building of the organ commences. The church asks parishioners to prayerfully consider how they can help meet the goal of $80,000.

Contributions in any amount are welcome and appreciated. For more information, call 704-243-3523 or visit www.saintmargarets.net.

The church is located at 8515 Rea Road.
