WAXHAW – People are invited to a free family concert Friday night, Aug. 3, at Waxhaw’s First Friday festivities.

People can start getting discounts at area businesses on Friday around 5 p.m. Businesses offering discounts during the event include Waxhaw Reading Room, Sassy n’ Classy, Fuzion Hair Design, Main Street Grill, Southsiders Public House, Mama Lena’s Italian Restaurant, Bike Depot, Teaspoons Coffee Shoppe, Bead Merchants and NOMA Hair/Skin Studio.
The Rachel Garcia Band has been in existence since 2001, performing in and around Charlotte and providing a wide range of music from classic rock to blues, reggae and more recent sounds.
