Town needs members for traffic calming committee

MARVIN – The town board in Marvin is looking for people to sit on a traffic-calming advisory board.

Members of the group will work with other residents, the North Carolina Department of Transportation and emergency response agents to come up with plans to ease traffic concerns in town. There should be five meetings of the group, on the third Tuesday of each month from 9 a.m. to noon starting in August. Five residents will sit on the committee.
