MONROE – From June 19 to 21, the Union County Chamber of Commerce will hold a massive membership campaign as membership in chambers across the country are dwindling. Membership is on the rise in Union County and chamber leaders want to expand on that.
“Our goal is to bring in 200 new members to the chamber in just three days,” chamber president Sharon Rosche said. “We are the voice for business in Union County and we want that voice to be louder tomorrow than it was yesterday.”
It’s a daunting task, but Rosche has plenty of help lined up.
Along with more than 150 volunteers, Membership180, a membership development company from Greenville, S.C., has been enlisted to bring their experience in recruiting, engaging and retaining new members to Union County.
