A Baltimore man has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of Phylicia Barnes, the Monroe teen who disappeared in December 2010 and was found dead months later.
Michael Johnson, the ex-boyfriend of Barnes’ sister, was arrested Wednesday morning, April 25, and charged with the crime, the Baltimore Sun is reporting.
Barnes was in Baltimore visiting her sister for Christmas.
Johnson was the last person to see the Union Academy honors senior alive Dec. 28, 2010 before she vanished. Her body was found in the Susquehanna River April 2011.
