MONROE – United Way of Central Carolinas honored a number of Union County businesses this week for their donations to the nonprofit.
A breakfast Wednesday, March 28, recognized employees of Union County’s top 10 corporate contributors: Union County Public Schools; ATI Allvac; Charlotte Pipe & Foundry, plastics division; Carolinas Medical Center-Union; Goodrich Corporation; RSC Chemical Solutions; Union County, Colfax Corporation; and UPS-Monroe. “I couldn’t be more proud and thankful of the Union County companies that so actively support this community, as well as our great board of advisors led by board chair Bill Norwood and campaign chair Leon Salter,” said Richard Heins, regional vice president of county operations for United Way, in a news release.
