MONROE – Kim Norwood is the new interim executive director of the Union Symphony Society.
Norwood, a Monroe resident, has worked with the symphony for four years and was instrumental in the development of the organization’s youth programs, including the Union Symphony Youth Orchestra. She also helped with the marketing of the symphony, developing the group’s current logo, concert posters and programs.
The group’s board of directors made the decision last week.
Martha Allen has served as the interim executive director since August.
