The Auto Body Repair and I-CAR training program at South Piedmont Community College have both been approved for Workforce Investment Act funding.
The funding program helps those unemployed pay to go back to college. Assistance can be used for books, child care, fees, supplies, transportation and tuition. The school’s I-CAR program is part of the largest certifying organization in the automotive repair field, with 25 different classes offered at SPCC. The cost per class is $225.
