This year, Maxwell’s Tavern agreed to host the event, Tuesday, Dec. 6 after school. The PTA will cover the bill, roughly $500 to $600, to take all the teachers out for dinner. The group is looking for donations, to go along with the meal.
“We’re trying to give out door prizes,” Lane said. “If anybody owns a business and would like to give a gift card or offer a service, this is the time. This is an opportunity for the community to show teachers how much we appreciate what they do.”
