Looking for something a little different to do over the weekend? Why not come to Waxhaw and hear the Sensenbrenner Family Singers. This group is made up of a granddad William (Papa Bill) Sensenbrenner; his grandsons: Eric Sensenbrenner, who is at Appalachian State: Will Howie, graduate of NC State, who is married, lives in Raleigh and is a CPA; Hank Howie, graduated from NC State and is a History teacher at Oxford High School. The date is Saturday, February 5. This musical event will be held at the Waxhaw United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, beginning at 7:00pm. The admission is free, but there will be a donation basket for anyone who would like to donate to the “Fixing It For Christ” Mission Project. Refreshments will be served at intermission. Patsy McGee will be the accompanist. You will hear such moving songs as “Impossible Dream”; “My Funny Valentine”; “Softly and Tenderly”.
Bill and his group will all be decked out in dark suits and bow ties for this special occasion.
