I have been out of commission for several weeks with surgery complications, and as I returned to my e-mail today, I was shocked at the diatribe filling my screen with Town of Stallings issues that seem to reflect a return to the unprofessional ways of previous town councils. Certainly, Mr. Esarove has every right to share his comments with our citizenry as does Mr. Dunn and the comments that he has forwarded to our residents. I must also comment that I feel betrayed by Mr. Esarove and his recent positions with the Town Council, when I compare his pre-election comments and promises during the council campaign to his documented council positions on the police evaluations. What is so distressing is that a group of professional, talented people who are supposed to be representing our town residents have chosen to take such a childish position to air their concerns and comments. Why don’t you all put your common sense ahead of your written commentary and get your dirty linen cleaned up without involving the press and flaming the fire of editorial discontent. Shame on you all! We, the citizens of Stallings, deserve more from you then we are getting.
