Principals, faculty to battle it out for school foundation

The Battle of the Bosses II volleyball tournament will raise money next week for the Union County Public Education Foundation.

The event, scheduled for Monday, March 26, at 6:30 p.m., will include two teams: a group from Monroe-area schools and a group from the Forest Hill High School area. The winning side gets to take a trophy home to their school.

Tickets to the event are $5 for adults and students 12 and older, $3 for children ages 6 to 11 and it’s free for kids younger than 5. Find more information at the foundation’s website,

The inaugural battle, held in February, saw a team from the Weddington area battle a team from Marvin Ridge.
