WAXHAW – A group of World War II re-enactors will set up a replica camp with command and communication centers May 4 at the Museum of the Waxhaws.
Military historian Jack Clay will have artifacts on display in the main museum while World War II veterans are encouraged to attend and share their experiences from the war.
The museum, located at 8215 Waxhaw Hwy., will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Regular admission fees apply: $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and $2 for children (6-12). The museum will waive admission for WWII vets and one guest.
