INDIAN TRAIL – Family Fun Day is moving from downtown to Crooked Creek Park – making way for more free rides, more than double the vendors and a closing fireworks show.
Festival-goers will be able to enjoy park amenities, such as the new splashpad and all-inclusive playground.
“This is Family Fun Day – we’re pulling out all the stops to make this the biggest festival Indian Trail has ever seen and to make sure everyone goes home happy,” Indian Trail Special Events Coordinator Hayden Kramer said.
The festival, sponsored by Publix, will include food and drink vendors selling a range of offerings, from kettle corn and funnel cakes to adult beverages. Other attractions include a dozen free amusement rides, magician, balloon artist, face painter and watermelon eating contest.
“It’s a big park, and we’re going to fill every inch of it with something fun for you and your family,” Kramer said. “With nearly 100 vendors, rides everywhere you look and a splashpad to top it all off, this is something you don’t want to miss.”
The event takes place 2 to 9 p.m. June 2 at Crooked Creek Park, 5900 Oakwood Lane.
